The Joybringers Charity on the 17th of April 2025, hosted a Multi-Skilled Workshop for children and young people in Newcastle upon Tyne. The day was filled with creativity, learning, and personal growth as participants explored web design, coding, game development with Unreal Engine, dance, and public speaking.
For many, it was a powerful opportunity to step outside their comfort zones and discover new talents. From building their first websites to learning expressive movement and speaking with confidence, the workshop opened doors to skills that are both fun and future-ready.
Feedback from participants was inspiring. One young attendee shared, “I didn’t know I could code or dance in front of people — now I feel like I can do anything”

At Joybringers Charity, our journey began with a single, powerful belief: that every young person deserves the opportunity to thrive, no matter their background or circumstances. Established in 2024, we set out with a clear mission to support young people across the North East of England and beyond. From humble beginnings, Joybringers has become a lifeline for thousands of young individuals, providing them with the tools, skills, and opportunities they need to build better lives for themselves and their communities.
We know that young people face a world full of challenges: economic hardship, lack of access to education, discrimination, and social isolation. Many struggle to find their path in life, unsure of how to break free from the barriers holding them back. But we also saw the incredible potential in each and every young person, waiting to be unleashed.
So, we decided to act.
Joybringers Charity was born to make a difference.
Through our workshops, mentorship programs, and community partnerships, we began providing young people with more than just the basics. We gave them skills—not just to survive, but to thrive. Whether it’s career guidance, mental health support, or life skills training, we create opportunities that empower young people to rise above their circumstances and realize their full potential.
We also knew that true empowerment doesn’t stop at education. It’s about creating lasting change. That’s why we focus on offering programs that are sustainable—whether it’s offering scholarships to help young people access higher education, providing job placement support, or creating spaces for youth to develop social skills and leadership abilities.
But none of this would be possible without the generosity of people like you.
Join us in making a difference. Together, we can give young people the resources they need to thrive and leave a positive legacy that will last for generations.
